Candidate Guidance: AI use in application processes with AstraZeneca
Responsible use of AI in our recruitment
We embrace the power of AI, because every minute saved in the lab, every friction point removed from clinical trials and every insight delivered to a physician is time gained for a patient somewhere in the world. Across AstraZeneca we use AI to augment human intelligence, so we can focus our time where it matters most.
We welcome candidates who share our curiosity in AI. We understand the value that responsible use can bring in preparing for recruitment processes, by helping you to be at your best and showcase your knowledge, skills and abilities. It’s what we want for you too.
Our priority is ensuring AI is used responsibly and ethically, so we can create a fair and transparent experience for everyone. Our expectation is that you will also use AI in this way.
Examples of responsible use and misuse of AI in the AstraZeneca recruitment process
Although not exhaustive, we’ve created some common examples of what we consider responsible use and misuse of AI by candidates during our hiring processes to help guide you.
Please use them to understand our expectation of how you use AI, so you can judge whether your approach aligns with them.
